On September 13-15, 2023, the second partner meeting of the Erasmus KA220-HED, Cooperation Partnership, 2022-1-TR01-KA220-HED-000089361 entitled "Green Chemistry Applications on Selected Medicinal and Aromatic Plants in the Artvin Region" took place, organized by the team project from DJUG, Faculty of Sciences and Environment, Department of Chemistry, Physics and Environment, led by Professor Rodica Mihaela DINICA, PhD.
The largest research vessel on Europe's inland waters, built within the project "Integrated system for complex environmental research and monitoring in the Danube River area, REXDAN, 127065", docked today in Galati port.
Today, the "Fani Tardini" Drama Theatre Hall hosted the opening ceremony of the second edition of the National Conference of Gynecological and Urological Oncology, organized in partnership by "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy Galati, "Carol Davila" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Bucharest, Romanian Society of Radiotherapy, Romanian Society of Medical Physics, College of Physicians Galati, and Emergency Clinical Hospital "Sf. Apostol Andrei" Galati.

The Great Meeting Hall of the Ministry of Investments and European Projects hosts today the second meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the "Just Transition Program 2021 – 2027", attended by "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, as a voting member. The National Association of Goat Breeders in Romania,inpartnership with "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, Faculty of Food Science and Engineering announces the completion of the project "Innovative internships in smart specialization fields", co-financed by Structural Instruments through the Human Capital Operational Program 2014-2020.
The REXDAN Research Center of "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati participated in a significant study case on the plastic pollution of the Danube in Romania. The study, which was conducted in collaboration with the associations Mai Mult Verde and Global Water Partnership Romania (Global Water PartnershipAssociation in Romania), within the "With Clean Waters" program, supported by Lidl Romania, revealed that almost 100 tons of plastic are brought by the Danube waters to Romania.
