The subsidiary of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Enna - Italy works according to the provisions of Decision no. 575 of 2015, published in the Official Gazette, Part I no. 554/ 27.07.2015, regarding the approval of the Nomenclature of the fields and of the programs of university studies and of the structure of the higher education institutions for the 2015-2016 academic year as well as the provisions of the Decision no. 781 of 2015, published in the Official Gazette, Part I no. 724/ 28.09.2015 for amending and supplementing Government Decision no. 575/2015 regarding the approval of the Nomenclature of the fields and of the programs of university studies and of the structure of the higher education institutions for the 2015-2016 academic year. Thanks to the tradition in performance, the University extends its cross-border academic links with other European universities, through joint research programs and projects, conferring educational strength to high quality standards of education at European and global level. In this context, the institution signed a partnership with the "Kore" University of Enna and the Proserpina Fund. “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati is the only institution in Romania which has a Subsidiary of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Enna – Italy. The subsidiary is accredited by the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) resulting that the degrees obtained by the students are internationally recognized. The subsidiary of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Enna has two study programs – Medicine and General Medical Assistance. The study period for the Medicine program is six years and four years for General Medical Assistance. The educational process at the faculty has a strong applied and practical feature. The demands, competence and performance are some of the plus points through which the faculty attracts its students. Its main goal is to give society high qualified medical personnel. The teaching - learning procedures are focused on interactive education, communicating with students and the interest of the practical aspect in the didactic activity. This component together with the informative one stimulates creative learning and contributes to the continuous improvement of students’ knowledge, qualities and skills. |
