The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports was established by the Government Decision no. 329 of 22/06/1998 published in the Official Gazette of Romania, Part I, no. 237 of 06/29/1998. The establishment of the department of physical education took place in 1969 and has been operating within the Pedagogical Institute for 3 years. Between 1990 and 1997 it worked in the Faculty of Letters and Sciences. The faculty has over 600 students and 36 professors in Physical and sports education, Medicine, Kinesiotherapy, Psycho-pedagogy and Socio-human. |
