The Faculty of History, Philosophy and Theology appeared as a stand-alone structure in 2004, developed from the programs: History-Geography (1992), History-Philosophy (1994), Theology-Romanian language and literature (1992). The affiliation to the Bologna system has led to the emergence of unique study programs, so until today the following study programs operate within the faculty: History, Philosophy, Sociology, Didactic orthodox theology, Orthodox theology and social assistance. We also added three Master's programs - Romania between East and West, Social philosophy-Theory and practice, History and philokalia spirituality, as well as a Doctoral School in the field of History. Through the high quality of higher education programs, adapted to European standards, the educational offer is flexible, adapted to the demands of the labor market and the socio-economic environment in Romania and the European Union. Most of the faculty’s graduates have become teachers in pre-university education, but also university professors, curators, librarians, archaeologists, TV presenters, journalists, sociologists and researchers within non-governmental institutions or organizations. The laboratories of the faculty provide adequate space for student preparation and research. The classrooms have modern equipment, internet and video projectors. Students are attracted by debates and round tables, book launches, national and international scientific student sessions. |
