The Faculty of Letters from "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati represents one of the most important institutions with a philological profile in Romania, with a tradition of over fifty years in organizing the programs of university studies. The didactic activity is provided by fifty professors, respectively seven professors, seventeen associate professors, sixteen senior lecturers and ten assistants, who hold the PhD title or are doctoral students. To these are added many professors and researchers, national and international, who teach annually courses based on the collaboration agreements with profile institutions and universities in Romania, Norway, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, France, Belgium, Turkey, Greece, Morocco, Algeria. The internationalization activity of the Faculty of Letters has intensified in recent years. Thus, the number of students who have carried out study or practice mobilities abroad, based on the existing Erasmus bilateral agreements between the Faculty of Letters and universities abroad, has steadily increased. At the same time, the number of foreign students who chose to attend a study program within the Faculty of Letters is constantly increasing. |
