Between September 14 and 16, 2023, the National Council of Rectors will take place in the hosting of "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati. The event coincides with the celebration of 75 years of academic higher education in Galati. The agenda will include important topics such as discussions on the application of Law 199/2023 on higher education, funding and development opportunities for Romanian universities, national and international partnerships to contribute to the development of research and innovation activities.

The official opening of the event will take place on Friday, September 15, in the auditorium of the "Fani Tardini" Dramatic Theatre in Galati, the works will take place at the University headquarters on Domneasca Street nr. 47.
