Between December 15-16th, 2023, the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering organized the workshop “Development of green skills - an essential requirement for a sustainable future in the milk industry”, within the ERASMUS AEDIL-CoVE European Dairy Excellence project, attended by 17 students from “Vasile Lovinescu” College from Falticeni, and 18 teachers from the “Technical College of Food Industry” in Suceava,  “Dorna Candreni Technological High School”, “Petru Musat College” from Suceava, “Andronic Motrescu” College in Radauti, and “Vasile Lovinescu” College in Falticeni.

Upon arrival, the group of students and teachers from Suceava, led by Prof. Monica Cretu, was warmly welcomed by Prof. Nicoleta STANCIUC, PhD, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering, and paid a visit to the 3D Printing Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering and the BioAliment-TehnIA platform.

On December 16th, the program included interactive debates on the topics: Green skills; Strategic rethinking of processes in the dairy industry; and Innovation and sustainability in whey valorization, organized by Prof. Daniela BORDA, PhD, Assoc. Prof.  Loredana DUMITRASCU, and Lecturer Iulia BLEOANCA, PhD, from the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering, "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati.

Students and teachers from Suceava enjoyed the exchange of experience and the festive atmosphere of Galati.
