On November 7, 2023, the lobby of "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati was too small for the students who came to see what job offers and internships have over 40 companies, public and private institutions in the region, which were present at the event. Young people had the opportunity to directly discuss with employers and get informed about the jobs they could get while still in college or after graduation.

"We thank entrepreneurs, therefore private and state structures who responded to our invitation, I want to wish success to the graduates and students in finding a job. Finally, I thank the team that organized this activity and that, from one year to another, gaining experience, made things run better", said the Rector of DJUG, Professor Puiu Lucian GEORGESCU, PhD.

"I congratulate the University for organizing the second edition of the fair, important for both entrepreneurs and graduates within a year. This means respect, interest from everyone for young people to find a job at home and use their acquired knowledge for the benefit of the community. Even when the Ministry of Labor organizes such an event, there are not so many entrepreneurs and young people present, which means that entrepreneurs also trust UDJG," said Costel FOTEA, president of Galati County Council.

"We welcome the role of binder that DJUG has between training students and placing them in the right place, within regional companies, looking for workforce", explained Ciprian Manea, representative of the Galati County Prefect Institution.

The university management has prepared for this event a raffle with prizes for participants.

The job and internship fair for students and graduates was organized through the Center for Career Counseling and Guidance of DJUG and it took place in the central hall of the University, between 10:00-16:00.
