At the proposal of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati today conferred the title of doctor honoris causa to Professor Yogesh Dwivedi, from School of Management Swansea University, UK.

Today's laureate, Mr. Yogesh DWIVEDI is a Professor of Digital Marketing and Innovation, Founding Director of the Emerging Markets Research Centre (EMaRC) and Co-Director of Research at School of Management, Swansea University, UK.

“Receiving the title of Doctor Honoris Causa means being recognized not only for his achievements, but also for his character, for the ethos with which he gets involved with the members of the academic community at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati. From his perspective, it is worth mentioning the collaboration between Professor Dwivedi and researchers from our university, materialized in articles published in respectable journals such as the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management and the Journal of Computer Information Systems.”, it is shown in the laudatio prepared by the hosts.

Currently, Prof. Yogesh DWIVEDI is editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Information Management, the leading journal in Information Science, indexed in Web of Science, with impact factor 21.
