Over 1000 high school students from Braila municipality, participated yesterday at the “Student #DJUG” Educational Fair organized in the lobby of the Faculty of Engineering and Agronomy in Braila. The opening of the event was attended by the local and county officials, representatives of the management of the County School Inspectorate, but also by partners from the business environment, who supported the organization of this important event to recruit future students.

On behalf of the local officials participated: Mrs. Subprefect Loredana Virginia BADIU, Mr. Vice-President CJ Ionuț Ciprian DOBRE, Mr. Deputy Mayor Alexandru JANTEA – CRICAN and Mrs. General School Inspector Adj. Cici Mihaela BOLOVAN.

"I invite you to carefully analyze our educational offer and make an informed choice. I will tell you only this: we are a prestigious university, ranked first in the rankings in the country and honorable places in the international ones. We want you to be the best in the country, to help your area, to choose a beautiful career", said the initiator of this project, Prof. Silvius STANCIU, PhD, Vice-rector of DJUG. He thanked the local public authorities in Braila who supported the organization of this event, the Prefecture, the County Council and the City Hall, the Braila County School Inspectorate, and finally the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Agronomy in Braila, Adrian GOANTA, who welcomed us in this beautiful location belonging to the Braila County Council.

The “Student #DJUG” Educational Fairs are part of the project "Partnership for educational performance", carried out by "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, along with the County School Inspectorates and pre-university education institutions.
