The Great Meeting Hall of the Ministry of Investments and European Projects hosts today the second meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the "Just Transition Program 2021 – 2027", attended by "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, as a voting member. DJUG is represented by the Vice-Rector for Research, Development, Innovation and Partnership with the Economic and Social Environment, Prof. Silvius STANCIU, PhD.
During today's meeting, presentations will be held on the stage of the just transition process, but also on the Management System of the Just Transition Program 2021-2027.
Also, during today's meeting, the Methodology, and criteria for evaluating and selecting projects applicable to the calls for proposals for the action "Investments for SME Development that Support Sustainable Growth and Job Creation" and the Technical Assistance Strategy of the Just Transition Program 2021-2027 will be presented and approved. Finally, the eligibility criteria and technical and financial evaluation applicable to the Technical Assistance Priority will be debated by voting members and observers.
The main objective of the Just Transition Program is to support environmentally sustainable economic diversification, of the small and medium-sized productive entrepreneurial sector, including female entrepreneurship, with a view to increasing the competitiveness and capacity of affected local economies to generate sustainable, secure, and attractive wage jobs.
