The National Association of Goat Breeders in Romania,inpartnership with "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, Faculty of Food Science and Engineering announces the completion of the project "Innovative internships in smart specialization fields", co-financed by Structural Instruments through the Human Capital Operational Program 2014-2020.

 The project was implemented during 2021-2023, through the partnership concluded between the National Association of Goat Breeders in Romania CAPRIROM, Titan Edilitare SRL Braila, "Stefan cel Mare" University of Suceava, "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati and "Ovidius" University of Constanta.

 The overall objective of the project corresponds to the major objective of POCU to develop human resources by increasing access to a quality education system, stimulating employment and partnerships between educational institutions and economic agents of practice, future employers.

The project facilitated the 350 students from the Target Group from the 3 partner universities to carry out the following main activities:
  • participating at innovative internships;
  • providing equipment, raw materials and support materials in carrying out innovative internships;
  • study visits and exchange of experience between partner universities, as well as to economic agents in the South-East and North-East Regions;
  • partnerships with economic agents and representative entities with experience and expertise in different fields of activity;
  • organizing meetings, round tables, study visits, examples of good practices, conferences with sections of interest: legislation, regulations, food quality and safety, traditional food products, etc.;
  • organizing and engaging in innovative competitions in the field of food production and gastronomy, aiming to obtain healthy, nutritionally balanced products;
  • students' access to counseling and guidance services on career development.
In the implementation of the project were involved partner universities, students from the target group and volunteers, economic agents, including local public authorities, to achieve harmonization of project objectives with local and regional development strategies in the fields of interest.
