Between 3-7 July 2023, "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati will host the 2nd Erasmus+ International Staff Week, organized by the Erasmus+ Office within the Department of International Relations. The main theme of the event is "Active citizenship and inclusion of students with fewer opportunities in HEIs".

In addition to promoting "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati at international level and continuing inter-institutional collaboration with partner universities within the Erasmus+ Programme, Key Action 1 - Higher Education, mobility with partner countries, the event aims to intensify the exchange of good practices in order to create an accessible, inclusive, equitable, and diverse academic environment.

The 50 participants (academics and administrative staff) represent 17 partner universities from 14 non-EU countries: Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Canada, Egypt, Haiti, Kosovo, Morocco, Palestine, Republic of Moldova, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uruguay, Vietnam.

During the 5 days, DJUG will become a center of cultural and linguistic diversity and moderator of discussions about challenges and solutions, to achieve the objectives of encouraging active citizenship and inclusion of students with fewer opportunities.
