"Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, as a partner, contributes to the implementation of the innovative project EXPLORATIONS IN THE DIGITAL WORLD, together with Konya Il Milli Egitim Mudurlugu (Konya – Turkey), Zeki Altindag Ilkokulu (Konya – Turkey), Crhack Lab Foligno 4D (Umbria, Foligno – Italy), Fundacja Eduvibes (Łódzkie Skierniewice – Poland) and Istituto Comprensivo A. Gemelli (Puglia Leporano – Italy). The aim of the project is to use digital tools in primary education (WEB 2.0 and WEB 4.0).

Between May 15-19, 2023, a delegation representing "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, "Mihail Sadoveanu" Elementary School of Galati and “Mihai Eminescu” Elementary School no. 28 from Galati, participated in the training and exchange of good practices program, carried out in Foligno, Italy, within the mentioned project.

During the five days, participants practiced new ways of using the digital environment to develop creativity and interdisciplinarity in primary education. Also, the techniques and tools presented are excellent ways to stimulate students' motivation for learning. As a result, they will be further capitalized on, in partner schools, organizing training sessions at local level.

The project is funded by the ERASMUS+ program and will end on 27.02.2024.
