For the fall admission, for the second cycle of full-time studies - Master's programmes of "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati, 215 budgeted seats and 712 tax seats were brought out to competition. Most of the budgeted places are at the Faculty of Engineering, where 53 budgeted places and 120 fee-paying seats are available for four Master's programmes.

At the Faculty of Letters, 42 budgeted places and 70 fee-paying places have been offered for two master's programmes, and 36 budgeted places and 63 fee-paying places at the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering. At the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration there are still 27 budget places and 82 fee-paying places available for the autumn, at the Faculty of Automation, Computer Sciences, Electronics and Electronic Engineering, there are 21 budgeted seats and 43 fee-paying ones, and at the Faculty of Sciences and Environment there are 17 budgeted seats and 74 fee-paying places.

A real performance was set by the Faculty of Social, Political and Legal Sciences, where places in the master's programmes have been fully filled since summer. The Faculty of Physical Education and Sport also has no more places in the Master's programme in the budget, with the Educational Management programme being fully occupied. Those who wish can still opt for 20 fee-paying places in Home Kinesiology and School Physical Education and Sport Management. Also highly sought after was the Naval Architecture programme in English at the Faculty of Naval Architecture, where there are 9 places left on a fee basis.

Few places are available at the Faculty of History, Philosophy and Theology (7), the Faculty of Arts (8) and the Faculty of Engineering and Agronomy in Brăila (4) where 84, 80 and 15 places are available, respectively, in exchange of a fee. At the Cross-Border Faculty, 17 places are still available on a budget for Romanians abroad and 52 on a fee basis.

Master's Degree Application Calendar
Registrations take place from 5-16 September, both online and in person at the specially designated centers. On 17 and 18 September the written exams will be held (in the applicable programmes) and on 19 and 20 September the results will be posted and appeals will be submitted. Those declared ADMITTED to the second cycle of full-time studies have 21-22 September to submit their original bachelor's degree, thus confirming that they wish to be master students of DJUG. For the Cross-border Faculty, registration at the specially arranged centers will take place from 12-15 September and the exams will be held on 15-16 September.
