This consideration was at the core of the project "Unified internships for engineering students"- SurprisING, implemented by "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati, in collaboration with the National Confederation for Women Entrepreneurship - CONAF, in which important partnerships were created with a view to consolidating the theoretical knowledge of our students and completing them with practical notions that, in the end, will facilitate their access to the labor market.

One of the important partnerships is represented by the one tied with DMT Marine Equipment that, between June 27 and 11th of July 2022, hosted 18 students from the Faculty of Engineering, providing them with the opportunity to gain practical knowledge as to how engineering and production processes are carried out, in one of the most modern companies in Galati.
DMT Marine Equipment designs and manufactures high quality marine deck equipment that is exported all over the world. Graduates of "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galati, who are employed within the company, contribute significantly to the international success of the company.
