I officially started this activity 74 years ago! But it seems that the core of the word "university" first appeared in 1913. My colleagues from the Faculty of History are now "digging" to find documents attesting academic activity in Galați since 1913. So, we can say that we are also celebrating 109 years since the first historical attestation of our university.

Instead, we are 74 years old, proven by documents, since we have higher education in Galați, which we celebrate today, March 20, 2022.

For a university, it's not very old age, but for us, it means a lot. We are glad that our university is recognized as a regional center of quality.
 
We are all connected with the activity, our souls, and with the partnerships to "Dunărea de Jos" University of Galați.
 
Thank you all for the opportunity to work together. Thank you for what we have built together and for what we will build from now on.
