"Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, through the Faculty of Letters, the Department of French Language and Literature, in collaboration with the University of Paris Nanterre, organizes joint courses and seminars, during students and professors from Galati interact with students and professors from the French capital. The meetings take place online, on the Microsoft Teams platform, every Wednesday, from 15:00 and 17:00, between January and March.

At the weekly meetings that are about "Literature and cinematography: influences, inspirations, reformulations" respectively, "The book future: multimedia or hypermedia?" participates: Lecturer Anca Calin, Ph.D., the French lecturer Zouhair Hariq and the third-year students from the Faculty of Letters from Galati, and Paris professor Alain Milon and his students.
 
"We thought of capitalizing on one of the advantages of online teaching, namely the erasure of geographical distances. If we teachers invited each other to our online courses last year, this year we thought it would be more interesting for students to interact with each other, so we decided to hold the classes together. The debates are intense, and the students, excited about this French-speaking virtual campus ", said Lecturer Anca Calin, Ph.D.
 
Alain Milon, professor of philosophy, member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF), is an old friend of the Department of French Language and Literature. The collaboration started a few years ago, together with the doctoral thesis in co-supervision of Lecturer Anca Calin, Ph.D. (coordinated with the late Professor Nicolae Ioana), and continued with the creation of volumes and co-organization of colloquia (in Galati and Paris).
