Demonstration courses, presentation films, unique experiments, interesting debates for high school students from Galati County and neighboring counties. Who want to meet teachers and students, educational and research programs, accommodation facilities, meals and entertainment, faculties, student associations, and other activities carried out within "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati (DJUG).

All these activities are gathered under the umbrella of the event "Open Gates-Open Minds" organized on 26-27 January. Following the model from May last year, the high school students will have the opportunity to talk with university professors, to walk virtually through the laboratories of the faculties, to participate in courses, or to talk with graduates.
 
The event program will be displayed daily on Facebook and the videos will be uploaded on the University and each faculty's YouTube channel. On the first day (January 26), the event will begin with an opening speech by Professor Puiu Lucian Georgescu, Ph.D., Rector of "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati. It will continue with the general presentation of the University and the presentation of the Student Housing Campus "Al. I Cuza", of the 2022 Admission Program, of the Erasmus Programs, and the partnerships that the institution has with the business environment and other universities.
 
Through this event, DJUG wants to show high school students the best they can offer. We hope for the participation of as many high school students as possible, we are waiting for them on social networks, we have prepared attractive presentation events, interactive programs, and interesting activities for participants. Last year, the virtual fair totaled about 500,000 accesses, said Professor, Silvius Stanciu, Ph.D., Vice-Rector of "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati.
