"Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati in collaboration with The Institute of Cyber Policy Studies - CyBureau of Israel and the College of Economics and Computer Science from Poland organize on 28 - 29 January an international conference with the subject: "Coronavirus and the cyberspace: a year of changes and challenges". More than 30 specialists from European countries, but also from the United States of America, have already announced their participation in the event.

All of them will try to tackle important topics regarding the present and future of cyberspace and the way our private and professional lives have changed after the COVID-19 pandemic.

After the speeches of the people in charge of the three organizing institutions (Professor Puiu-Lucian GEORGESCU, Ph.D., Rector of "Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati, dr. Przemysław STACH, Vice-rector of the College of Economics and Computer Science from Poland, and dr. Tal PAVEL, director of CyBureau) plenary presentations and section papers will follow.

During the plenary Robert KOSLA, Director of the Cybersecurity Department within the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of Poland will also speak.

The conference is structured on 7 panels: "Cyber challenges in the coronavirus era"; "Remote working models"; "Virtual life, virtual teaching"; "Information security and cybercrime in the coronavirus era"; "Fake news and misinformation"; "Cyber threats and the health sector"; "Coronavirus and cyberspace: looking for the future".
