IBM is expanding its online education resources through a new initiative, holding free workshops to help students learn about emerging technologies such as Watson and how to use them. These workshops can provide users with the tools they need to explore new ideas, careers and courses to reach their full potential - anytime, anywhere.

The workshop will focus on hands-on implementation, will last about 2 hours and will be on the area of chatbots development. From a technical point of view, no knowledge of artificial intelligence is required because the trainer will include a presentation of the necessary concepts at the beginning of the workshop. The technology presented will be one of the latest generations - Watson Assistant.

The minimum number of participants is 20, the only pre-condition being that each participant will have a laptop with internet access on which to run the laboratory. During the event, participants will receive vouchers for IBM Cloud that allow access to premium features for free for a longer period of time. In this way, the knowledge taught can be used in practice (eg. developing applications for the bachelor thesis).
