Due to the cases of Coronavirus infections at national and local level, the official statements issued by the Ministry of Education and Research, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health, the National Committee for Special Emergency Situations and the Public Health Directorate of Galaţi County, the management of “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati recommends, during this period, special preventive measures, in order to avoid cases of illness at institutional level.

Thus, the decision of the Ministry of Health regarding the interdiction of public or private manifestations, in open or closed spaces, with a number of participants bigger than 1000 persons, the maximum limitation of other didactic and scientific events (symposia, conferences, study visits and trips at local or national level, and other measures, according to the legal provisions in force will be respected.

For the students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, the practice in hospitals will be prohibited and their didactic activity will continue outside the hospitals, and the clinical practice will not be carried out at the patient's bed, but in other spaces, as case presentations.

Regarding the employees of the institution and students returning from international trips from risk zones, the legal provisions regarding the activities to prevent the spread of COVID 19 infections will be respected.
