Francophone University Association for Central and Eastern Europe and the French Institute of Romania have launched the call for applications for the 4th edition of the contest My thesis in 180 seconds.

This contest allows PhD students to present their research topic in French using simple words in front of a profane and varied auditorium.

Each student must do in 3 minutes a clear, concise and convincing presentation of his/her research topic with the help of one slide.

The contest’s calendar is:
  • Signing up until the 1st of March 2020 at: https://bit.ly/2tfF0Oi
  • National final in Bucharest on the 6th of May 2020;
  • International final in Paris in October 2020 (the winner of the national final will represent Romania).
One of the admission criteria is to be enrolled or to have been enrolled in a doctoral program in the current academic year (2019-2020) or to have defended the doctoral thesis during the 2018-2019 academic year.

PhD students who carry out their thesis in Romanian, English, German etc. are welcome to participate in the contest. They only have to speak for 3 minutes in French, to present their thesis to those interested in the topic of their research.
