"Dunarea de Jos" University of Galati participated on 20-23 November, 2019 in INFOINVENT - International Specialized Exhibition in the field of intellectual property, creativity and innovation, 16th edition. The event took place at Moldexpo in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova and was organized by AGEPI, the university is represented by teams of researchers from the Faculty of Food Science and Engineering and the Transboundary Faculty.
The exhibition presented ideas and innovations of researchers from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Portugal, Korea, and Vietnam.
At the exhibition, the university presented nine inventions, namely:
- Purple Lavania (Multifunctional ingredient based on microencapsulated extracts from black rice and lavender for food applications);
- Pork parizer with sea buckthorn groat;
- Natural multifunctional ingredients based on co-microencapsulated anthocyanins extract from eggplants peels and lactic bacteria for food applications;
- Natural ingredients based on microencapsulated anthocyanins from grapes in whey proteins hydrogels for food applications;
- Dye based-on sea buckthorn and blood for reducing of residual nitrite to the meat industry;
- Artisanal starter culture, lyophilized product from milk kefir grains;
- Pork parizer with sea buckthorn;
- Nutritionally balanced bread in protein.
Awards won:
9 GOLD MEDALS, offered by AGEPI for all the inventions presented.
